Having broken a priceless vase, Haruhi Fujioka is in debt to the host club, and this romantic comedy series follows her as she tries to pay it back.

Well... a lot happens in this volume, that's for sure. We get to see Haruhi's true feelings, a treasure hunt and a school skiing trip, as well as a flash back to Tamaki's first day in Japan.

Haruhi's character develops a lot in this volume. For the most part, it's a conscious change by her in order to better meet her goals, but I think there's a subconscious change too. Hikaru also goes through a lot of changes, facing a dilemma that requires him to make some big decisions (and Kaoru doesn't really help him). Then, there's Tamaki, and the others' hypothesis of why he truly can't accept his true feelings. Lots of character drama in this volume, to be sure! *flails around*

Also, I was happy to see the class president again. Poor guy. XD

Another cliffhanger ending, by the way! I can't tell if it's worse or better than the last one. D:
